A virtual recording studio/nuclear fallout shelter/party palace, serves as the headquarters from which the band plans and conducts most of its activities. When we say "virtual," we mean that The Lab has no specific location, but consists of equipment, ideas, and personnel which are strung together with patch cords, duct tape and chore boy. The state of The Lab is in constant flux, sometimes we get a lot of work done there, sometimes there are so many idiots present that work is impossible, and sometimes we show up at The Lab to find it isn't even there. All of PUNCTURE's songs have been written at The Lab. Both our 92 demo and the Dutch Fist demo were recorded there as well as several tracks from the Immune CD: "Complete and Total," "Negative Zone," "LD/50," and "Bonus Beat(ing)s." Several other local rap and electronic bands have used The Lab for recording projects. For further information on guided tours, studio rates, et cetera, send us an email at puncture@flash.net.
